This regulator employs a single-ended primary-inductor converter (SEPIC) topology, ensuring efficient power conversion with typical efficiencies between 80% and 90%. It is particularly suitable for battery-powered applications where the input voltage may fluctuate above or below the desired output voltage as the battery discharges.

This regulator is part of the S18V20x family, which includes both adjustable and fixed-output versions. The adjustable nature of this model allows for flexibility in various applications, making it ideal for scenarios where precise voltage control is necessary.
